After being asked several times about this, I decided to finally nibble the rose bud and provide you with those long awaited instrumentals from my 2016 STELLARSONIC! album!
The original album (not the Totem Digital Deluxe Edition) was 13 tracks long and I’ve decided to throw that bonus Fledgling track on this release too as it sounds quite lovely as a mellowed instrumental. There’s also a lovely bloke I know who used to play it for his mum before she sadly passed, so I wanted to pay tribute and honour that specialness by including it here as I know he’s going to love the addition :)
The “Extra Portion Of HOXXX” I’ve included are some unreleased demos that didn’t see an official release. These include one track in particular (Rise Up Now) that narrowly missed going on the 2016 album as I had recorded most of the parts but didn’t finish the outro section as I felt it didn’t fit with the rest of the songs and so the decision was made to leave it off. Nevertheless, I thought you might find it interesting to revisit this motley crew of musings as they are in their (mostly) raw unadulterated forms.
Post It In A Letter was written years before however (2008!) but I had wanted to get it onto STELLARSONIC! as I felt it was long overdue some attention. Unfortunately for me during a laptop and hard drive transfer, I lost some vital horn parts and only had a rough mix saved with a synth solo that was obtusely high in the mix for my reference at the time, haha… but I have still enjoyed listening to it after all these years and thought you might too. I’ve even chucked in a voice note recorded on my old dingy mid to late 2000s white MacBook as I chirped out some aggressively shady lyrics at the time surrounding a nasty breakup AND whilst having contracted mononucleosis HAHAHA!
I’ve given you these offerings in HD WAV format as they’re worthy of the fancy polish, with that delightfully analogue ssssssssssweetness that harks back to simpler times when the world had a cushiony soft layer over it, so have a rebel revel in some retroriffic splish splash!

It's the one year anniversary of this album, so I think it's finally time I expressed how great I think it is. To this day I'm still addicted to it.
